On XX/XX/year> I received a 'virtual " American Express prepaid card. The cardmember agreement says the card works anywhere AmEx cards are accepted but that it may not work for reservations and deposits. My card has failed to work when making a one-time payment towards my XXXX insurance bill, a one-time payment to my lawn care provider online ( they do not do recurring billing, I receive an invoice and enter my credit card every time I get a bill, it is not automated or recurring ), when trying reload my XXXX balance online, and when trying to use tap to pay in person to pay for a haircut last week. These denials are in violation of the cardmember service agreement.
