I have been a victim of identity theft for the past 4 years. There have been Fraudulent Items being reported to my Credit Report. The following account AWA COLLECTIONS ( Account XXXX, Original Creditor : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Date Opened : XX/XX/XXXX. Balance {$1500.00}. I have never had an account with none of these companies. Cease the reporting of the fraudulent item being reporting immediately. I am not liable for this debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX and I do not have any contract with AWA COLLECTIONS. I have attached my Identification and FTC report. On XX/XX/XXXX I sent out a letter to AWA COLLECTIONS stating the followingI am wrong to express my dissatisfaction with your recent attempt to collect a debt from me, account number XXXX, regarding a purported overdue balance of {$1500.00} allegedly owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account is fraudulent and does not belong to me, I have attached an FTC report along with this document. I am requesting the following 1.Immediate Cease of reporting this alleged debt to any Credit Reporting Agency 2.A formal apology from AWA COLLECTIONS for the violation of my rights under the FDCPA. 3.Compensation for emotional distress and inconvenience caused by your unlawful collection efforts, in the amount of {$1000.00}. 4.Reimbursement of any legal fees incurred in addressing this matter.
