XX/XX/24 Re : Failure or refusal by Nelnet to re-disclose loans after 3 months, 5 requests, and as many verbal confirmations To whom it may concern, My student loan service provider, Nelnet, has misallocated payments and refuses to apply, or correctly submit, my multiple requests for re-disclosure resulting in a miscalculation in my monthly payment amount due. Since paying off two loan groups in XXXX of this year, I have requested Nelnet re-disclose my loans on 5 separate occasions : XX/XX/24 ( rep did not provide her name per protocol when accepting and ultimately misapplying payment over the phone ), XX/XX/24 ( XXXX # XXXX ), XX/XX/24 ( XXXX # XXXX ), XX/XX/24 ( XXXX # XXXX ), and XX/XX/24 ( XXXX # XXXX ). On each occasion I have received verbal confirmation that my request would be submitted and go through within a few weeks, and yet not a single request has been heeded after 3 months. Additionally, I have received incorrect information regarding the monthly payment amount due ( was told on XX/XX/24 by " XXXX '' that my new monthly amount due beginning XX/XX/24 would be {$1100.00} ). This is not reflected on my account and subsequent reps have disputed the figure. On my most recent call ( XX/XX/24 ), I was told by XXXX that the loans were " indeed re-disclosed on XX/XX/XXXX '', that it " doesn't make any sense '' that the monthly payment amount has not changed, and that there are indeed " discrepancies '' that need to be looked into. She would not provide a timeframe for resolution. She also could not, or would not, attest to re-disclosure in writing, nor is relevant documentation available on Nelnet 's webpage. Inconsistent information from representative to representative occurs on nearly every single phone call, of which I keep recordings for quality assurance purposes should you deem them worthy of investigating. As a result, I have received, and continue to receive, higher monthly amounts due despite having completely paid off 2 loans this year owing to Nelnet 's refusal to properly submit, apply, and/or update my account requests for re-disclosure.
