My company was notified by a debt collection company ( Biehl & Biehl , Inc. ) that we owed a debt to a creditor named XXXX XXXX XXXX that we have never heard of nor done business with before. The notice said it was for invoices from XX/XX/XXXX. We never received any invoices nor any other correspondence from this company, and we don't even know what the invoices are supposedly for. The debt collection notice from Biehl & Biehl in XX/XX/XXXX was the first we had even heard about any money owed. We tried contacting the debt collection company Biehl & Biehl first by email on XX/XX/XXXX requesting any information. They never responded back, so we called on XX/XX/XXXX to request the info. They said it would take " awhile '' to get the invoices to us, but agreed to email us the invoices. After over 2 weeks, we called again on XX/XX/XXXX and were told we had to keep waiting and " call back later '' without any description of when was an appropriate amount of time to wait. There is no contact info listed on the letter for the original creditor of XXXX XXXX XXXX, so we do not know how to contact them. We have not been able to get Biehl & Biehl to provide invoices for this amount we supposedly owe but have no record of, so this whole thing seems like quite a scam- they send a business a notice of amount owed and a return envelope, and hope someone else in the business will just assume it's legit and mail in a check. If they can't provide invoices or proof of what the invoice was even for, they should not be allowed to contact us!
