I opened a new checking account with Capital One, after about a week of having the account open the account was frozen after I made 2 transactions through XXXX ( XX/XX/2024 ). On my capital one app it stated " Your funds are currently not available for withdrawal. Please call us at XXXX. '' I proceeded to call and I answered all their questions, submited an ID for verification, but they said " based on your answers were going to close your account and your funds will transferred to your bank listed on the account or a check will be emailed. '' My balance was close to XXXX so I assumed the account was going to be fully closed in a short amount of time, I tried to get my direct deposit switched back to my original XXXX account as soon as capital one told me that but my next two checks ( {$3200.00} ) were still accepted to the capital one account, without the option to use the money or transfer it. Ive called capital one numerous amount of times and all they can help me with is " I will write on the notes that you called but your funds will be transferred once the investigation is complete '' As of today XX/XX/2024 I still haven't received my funds and have paid hundreds of dollars in late fees and overdraft fees across my XXXX checking credit cards and my rent. I'm 2 months overdue on a Capital One credit card which is effecting my credit.
