On or about XX/XX/year> a new collection was added to my credit report with the 3 major credit report. The account was opened fraudulently by a third party as part of an identity theft. I contacted the original creditor listed ( XXXX XXXX ) to explain same. I filed an identity theft claim with the FTC and my local police department ( XXXX Police Department ). I sent copies of these reports as well as all other info requested to XXXX XXXX at the link provided as well as to all 3 major credit bureaus as part of disputes on XX/XX/year>. The 3 major credit bureaus have refused to remove the fraudulent account that was opened using my stolen information. I have complied with everything asked of me as part of this identity theft and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act the creditor has violated my rights under : 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602. The consumer reporting agencies have furnish an account without my written instructions and refuse to remove the fraudulently opened account. The Police report provided by the XXXX Police Department provided is # XXXX. Also attached are the identity theft report filed with the FTC. The credit reporting company Equifax just updated the report noting that it changed ownership to a collection agency rather than removing it. The credit reporting agency shows as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX MN XXXX
