I opened a credit card with XXXX card from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( hereafter known as XXXX XXXX ). I made a couple of purchases using my iphone which had gotten automatically linked to the XXXXXXXX XXXX. I should have gotten a monthly statement of bill by mail to make my card payment. I did not get any such bill for months. They were sending statement by email which was going to my XXXX folder so I was not aware. As I was not aware of the monthly due amount I was unable to pay the bills. XXXX XXXX finally after 90 days of not receiving the payment reported it to credit reporting agecies which adversely affected my XXXX score which had been meticulously built over the last XXXX decades. In all the time not once did XXXXXXXX XXXX mail me a bill or a notice of past due to my home mailing address. If they had I would have paid the bill right away. I found out about the outstanding bill when a mortgage company pulled my credit report and saw this late ite. I was surprised and taken aback. I settled the bill including interest right away upon learning of it. I wrote to apple card to show a XXXX time consideration to withdraw the delinquency to not impact my impeccable credit history but they refused. This is clearly their fault for not having corresponded by mail when a bill was due. I request your help in restoring my credit history. I am in the market to buy a home and it is impacting my ability to get a good mortgage.
