I was on an account with my mother in law, XXXX XXXX, who recently passed away. She passed on XX/XX/year>. When I went to close my account, it was discovered that transfers were made from the account using her credentials AFTER her death. I went into the PNC Bank XXXX on XXXX XXXX in XXXXXX/XX/XXXXand spoke with the XX/XX/XXXXXXXX, XXXX XXXX. She spoke to theXX/XX/XXXXXXXX and was advised that they would not allow me to file a complaint. They are violating XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I gave PNC a copy of the death certificate from the state of XX/XX/XXXXshowing that it could not be my mother in law as the transaction that took the balance was initiated several days after she was gone. While it may not be a large sum of money, PNC is failing in their fiduciary duty to protect my accounts. They pretty much advised me that if transactions are made that I myself did not perform, or that I know to be fraudulent, there is no recourse. This should not be allowed.
