Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to file a complaint against Alexander Rose and Associates, a debt collection agency, regarding their handling of a debt collection account on my credit report. The details of my complaint are as follows : I discovered an account on my credit report from XXXX at XXXX XXXX for an alleged debt of {$3900.00}. I broke my lease at my apartment due to a family violence situation and had an agreement with the property manager to end my lease due to unsafe conditions for my children and I. I was not contacted by XXXX at XXXX XXXX prior to the dent being sold to Alexander Rose and Associates or before its appearance on my credit report. I requested validation of the debt in writing from XXXX at XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/year> but have not received any response or documentation supporting the validity of the debt. Additionally, I know that the debt has been sold to Alexander Rose and Associates by the apartment complex, which raises concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of the debt. I request that XXXX at XXXX XXXX provide validation of the debt in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If the debt can not be validated, I request that Alexander Rose and Associates cease all collection efforts and remove the account from my credit report. I also request that Alexander Rose and Associates provide confirmation in writing that the debt has been removed from my credit report. I authorize the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to share my complaint with XXXX at XXXX XXXX and any other relevant parties for the purpose of investigating and resolving this matter.
