I paid my XXXX bill ( {$220.00} ) with my bank card... .Chime XXXX XXXX card. Unfortunately, after I hit confirm payment on the website to pay my bill, I noticed I paid with my OLD Chime XXXX XXXX card number. After cancelling the Old Chime XXXX XXXX card last month ( beginning of XXXX ) and ordering a new Chime XXXX XXXX card and receiving it, I forgot to update my XXXXXXXX XXXX information. But I figured, as soon as I did it, that it would come back denied after pending because I used the OLD Chime XXXX XXXX card number and that old card number WAS SUPPOSED TO BE CANCELLED when I ordered my new one back in XXXX. Well, the transaction went through, which means my bank, Chime, DIDN'T CANCEL THE OLD CARD. The {$220.00} should have come back to my account and it never did. Because the payment went through and SHOULDN'T have, I didn't have any money to buy my g/f a birthday gift on XXXX & 3 Credit card bills. My bank tells me I might have to wait till the end of XXXX for a decision. THIS SHOULD BE THE EASIEST DECISION TO MAKE. THE ATTACHMENT IS THE PAYMENT TRANSACTION PROOF TO SPECTRUM WHERE ANYONE WHO CAN READ CAN SEE THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF THE CARD USED WAS XXXX ; WHICH IS THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY OLD CHIME XXXX XXXX CARD, WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED AS SOON AS I ORDERED A NEW CHIME XXXX XXXX CARD.
