Adverse Action Notification Loan # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2024 XXXX XXXX To XXXX I spoke with one of your representatives last Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX. ( No I do not know her name ) .She told me that she would further research the conversation we had and call me back. She never did. I called because I was denied credit for a loan that I NEVER ASKED FOR! The " turndown '' was received in a letter of " Adverse Action Notification '' which in part said, " that you ( Loan Depot '' were unable to offer me a loan because of information contained in a consumer report ''. Key factors cited in the turndown denying us credit were : XXXX ) XXXX -- Time since most recent account opening is too short XXXX ) XXXX -- Amount owed on revolving accounts is too high XXXX ) XXXX -- Proportion of balances to credit limits is too high on bank revolving or other revolving accounts XXXX ) XXXX -- Too many accounts with balances It's interesting that your documentation states that " The reporting agency played no part in our decision and is unable to supply specific reasons why we have denied credit to you. '' and yet you cited the specific reasons " that adversely affected your credit score '' Once again, since I never asked for a loan, why was I being turned down?. In addition, my wife and I have excellent credit and we've never been turned down for a loan, In addition, I CURRENTLY HAVE A MORTGAGE WITH LOAN DEPOT! Evidently my credit was good enough for a mortgage but not good enough for a loan that I never asked for! Finally, I am extremely concerned with the latitude that Loan Depot has to share my information, including this information, shown under " What does Loan Depot .com LLC do with your personal information '' I believe if the information found in " The Adverse Action Notification '' was shared with anyone that my credit worthiness would be severly damaged.. I do expect that Loan Depot resolve the above issues immediately! XXXX XXXX.
