I received a medical collections statement from Medicredit , Inc., a subsidiary of XXXX XXXX. I received care from XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( also part of XXXX XXXX ), on XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was incorrectly billed for the amount of {$700.00}. I both disputed and appealed this bill. On XX/XX/2024, my insurance posted an updated EOB indicating that the amount I owe is {$0.00}. I reached out to Medicredit to discuss and they gave me an email address to submit documentation, XXXX. They did not indicate next steps or when I would receive an update on the correction from their end. I then reached out to XXXX 's billing department to request that my bill be updated according to the corrected amount. The representative reported that they had not received any updated statements. I asked for contact information to submit documentation and they responded that documentation needed to come from my insurance.
