I According to my consumer report I received dated XX/XX/XXXX there was an error that on XX/XX/XXXX I there is a late payment posting from XXXX XXXX have never been late on this account. If you havent been made aware, there are various federal laws in place to protect me as a consumer and to construct this business transaction. As a gentle reminder you CAN NOT report/treat a payment on an open ended credit plan as late for any reason. If you need direct citation please refer to 15 USC 1666 ( B ). I also would like to bring forth another law pertinent to this letter ; 15 USC 1681 ( B ) where it states that I as a consumer would need to give you PERMISSION to furnish information on my behalf. This account XXXX needs to be updated as paid as agreed, NO LATE PAYMENT on Equifax, XXXX, XXXX and any other furnishes of my personal credit.
