Consumer Narrative
I paid my XXXX payment for car note for {$460.00} and Truist applied it as an interest only or principle payment and did not pay my monthly car note and it reported to the credit bureau for a 30 day late payment. I have paid this car note consistently the same way for 3 years and have never been late. Truist said they see their mistake but can not change it and that I would have to contact the credit bureaus. I contacted all 3 credit bureaus and they all said it was Truist mistake and they are the only ones that can change it.
