I went to the XXXX XXXXXXXX back in XXXX of XXXX. Apparently my insurance didnt cover an XXXX XXXX I received, and forgot to pay the bill sent to me for {$35.00}. The first bit of mail I received from Hollis Cobb debt collections, I paid in full ( XX/XX/XXXX ) as I never intended to run from such a small amount of debt, it had just slipped my mind. A couple weeks after paying, I received a call telling me I still owe. I informed the woman that I paid, and gave her the exact date and time the payment cleared from my credit card. She ignored me and kept telling me how I could pay. I finally got an email address from her to send a screenshot of my receipt. I emailed the company the screenshot with my debt account number explaining the situation. No reply, no anything, aside from a new letter informing me of my debt received in the mail yesterday. This company has essentially stolen my money and is still going to affect my credit negatively. Looking through their reviews on XXXX, this is how they treat everyone. Predatory and unlawful.
