Consumer Narrative
I am writing this Complaint as a notice of noncompliance from DISCOVER BANK. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Account number XXXX XXXX XXXX On the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX report in the month of XXXX XXXX XXXX there's a XXXX days past due reported on my report. That's not accurate. On my XXXX report The last payment made says XXXX, XXXXAlso on my XXXX account Discover Bank has XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX as current. Which makes no since. On my XXXX account Discover Bank has XXXX of XXXX as XXXX days lateXXXX of XXXX as XXXX days late. XXXX of XXXX as XXXX days late. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of XXXX all have XXXX days late. On my XXXX Account the Discover Bank account closed date is XX/XX/XXXX. However, I have late payments on my report after the closing date. On My XXXX report I have late payments reporting from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX and then charged off in XXXX of XXXX. How do I have late payments reporting after the closing date? Because Discover is reporting XXXX different closing dates. I have a closing date for the account in year XXXX and another closing date in XXXX. Just these XXXX bureaus alone have major inaccuracies. They are not reporting the same. Also because of the inaccuracies in dates it is implied that they wouldn't even fall off at the same time because they are so different. Furthermore, Every Time I dispute they keep reporting in remarks " Account information disputed by consumers meets FCRA requirements. While it's their duty to make a remark that I disputed ; Nothing above meets FCRA Requirements. The FCRA states, specifically 15 U.S.C 1681s-2 ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( a ) which states " Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors. A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. '' 15 U.S.C 1681s-2 ( a ) ( XXXX ) ( b ) states " Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors. A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate ; and ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. '' They refuse to delete the account thats has so many inaccuracies. Thats not right. They know its wrong and they keep saying it meets FCRA when it clearly doesnt. It isnt the same across the board. Its wrong. Several Late payments after closing dates. XXXX different closing dates. XXXX different charge off dates. XXXX different fall of dates. They XXXX XXXX XXXX the account. This is not my first, second or third dispute. At this point its because fraudulent and willful non compliance. They clearly arent investigating anything.
