I was involved in identity theft and several credit cards were opened or tried to be opened in my name. Several I was denied, and letters came to my house for denials. These were opened in my name, and I have been sent bills to pay that I was never aware of having these cards opened or using them. I have not paid any of these, I want them cancelled, my name removed from them, and any derogatory marks removed from my credit score. Capital One was opened in my name and I never opened this card or requested it. I received a letter about a credit increase request dated XX/XX/XXXX that I did not request and luckily it was denied. I received a letter stating my account was past due on XX/XX/XXXX, which I new nothing about as I called in XX/XX/XXXX to let them know I never opened this card.I received a bill from them dated XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX XXXX with a past due amount of {$740.00}. I never had a chance to call them again, as I have several other cards with fraudulent charges of over {$21000.00}. These were more pressing and I just want this removed from my credit report and this card cancelled as I am not liable for this one either. I have been told not to pay any of these fraudulent accounts by federal agencies, as I am not liable. This is why they are in collections. I pay all of my legitimate bills on time and before all of this happened to me, my credit score was XXXX.
