I have been with Venmo for a few years, over a year ago I started receiving phone calls from Venmo, fraudulent activity noted on your account, press 1 if this was not you! If you did not answer the first call it would immediately call again, and again! When you answered and responded 1 they would send a text to press 1 and then insert these 5 numbers. For over a year I ignored these calls! On XX/XX/XXXX, I finally answered and some XXXX guy asked if I had sent {$440.00} to XXXX. I said I didnt do anything. The guy then said I need to transfer funds back to my bank account and I told him no! Im not doing anything and the next think I know my Venmo account is closed and funds from my Venmo have been transferred XXXX XXXX! Help please
