XX/XX/XXXX RE : Homeowner, XXXX XXXX - Property Address XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA To Whom It May Concern : This letter is to convey the economic hardship that I have experienced as a result of the pandemic. I am a small business owner and my day to day business operations were severely impacted. I am still recovering and have continued to be significantly and negatively affected by the pandemic resulting in the temporary inability to make mortgage payments. My family experienced previous recent pandemic economic hardship whereby we applied and received assistance through the GA HAF Grant in the amount of {$44000.00}. The payment from GA HAF was made to our mortgage company Everett Financial Inc. dba Supreme Lending. At the time of our original pandemic hardship, our monthly mortgage payment was {$2200.00}. When our regular payments were scheduled to resume, we were shocked to discover that our mortgage company said we owe escrow. Our understanding along with GA HAF understand was that all monies owed to our mortgage company included all ESCROW. Instead, our mortgage company adding it to our new monthly mortgage payment. The new amount of {$3100.00} includes escrow spread over a XXXX period effective XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately, paying an almost {$1000.00} monthly increase in our mortgage payment has further contributed to us experiencing hardship again. We also believe our mortgage company may be getting paid extra money because they are saying the money paid to them by GA HAF did not include the ESCROW. But, we all believe the monies our mortgage company received included the ESCROW. As ESCROW is included with each monthly payment. The monthly payment of {$2200.00} which was our normal monthly payment includes the ESCROW. How then can our mortgage company say we owe it when they asked us to pay up all missed monthly payments? Then when it is paid in full say we owe the ESCROW. But, the ESCROW has always been attached to the monthly payments. Seems like Everett Financial Inc. dba Supreme Lending are not doing right by my family, me and GA HAF. As I continue to diversify my self-employment, Ive increase ride share driving.
