With guidance from the Nelnet servicer, I applied for IDR plans without results. Aim was to lower the payment amount to one that suits my income and expenses. Multiple attempts throughout XXXX were made to this end. These efforts are all well documented on both Student Loan gov't site and Nelnet. For example on XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with rep XXXX who agreed to lower my Nelnent payents to {$230.00} monthly, ref # received : XXXX, did not result in this confirmed payment. I continue to be billed for payments exceeding XXXX $ each month. Per Nelnet guidance, the SAVE application was completed in XXXX of XXXX to lower payments, but was denied for reasons not clarified by servicer. Inbound emails received from XXXX for additional assistance, prompted my replies, but were never acknowledged. In conclusion, I aim to pay XXXX $ on my private student loan and separate payment of XXXX $ toward my federal student loan on a monthly basis. However, I am not permitted to do so. It appears, my only payment options are limited to deferment, forebearance, or pay the full XXXX and XXXX respectively. Lastly, I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that has not received the feedack solicited for loan forgiveness and lowered monthly payments. You feedback and assistance would agreatly appreciated.
