Barclay Carnival Mastercard closed my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I had not been able to take a cruise that year due to my sons graduation. I did take one in XXXX of XXXX, and currently have one planned for XX/XX/XXXX. However, when I went to redeem my points, I could not find my account. Calling Barclay, they said they closed my account due to inactivity. I never received notice or forwarning. I would have charged something. I had about {$200.00} dollars in active points. I earned these points in XXXX of XXXX. They are/were not set to expire until XXXX of XXXX. Active points by definition is Activity on my account. Again, if they needed me to charge something to keep my points, I would have done so. I did not know they would steal my active points in my account. They could have blocked lending, but kept my points until they expired. They chose to kill my points that I earned, and simply close my account without forewarning. I would like to be reimbursed my points stolen. Dirty move!
