I have a target credit card opened XX/XX/2023. I have made my payments no issues. XXXX XXXX I paid a payment for XXXX. The company placed a hold on it due to suspicious payment. Finally after complaints they removed it I made another payment XX/XX/XXXX XXXX. That payment was held due to suspicious payments. I was told by Target that they wanted to speak with my bank to see if I had authorization to make those payments and because it was usually large they didnt feel I could make that payment. They stated in the past my payments have not gone over XXXX and they just need the bank to validate I could make a payment. I asked XXXX can I not make a large payment with my checking about or debit card he said I can they just need the bank to verify I can make a payment. I have made this payment and it has been 10 days and my payment has not been released due to being XXXX and they dont feel I have money in my account. They are holding my money until I allow them to speak to my bank to verify I have money in my account to make the payment. The payment has cleared on their end but needs to bank to verify I have money and its not fraud. I asked them do they verify with all customers who make large payments he said the computer decides who needs to verify if they have money. This is XXXX profiling and harassment in lending and I am seeking legal action against Target
