I applied several years ago to remove my cosigner from my loan and was denied. I recently re-applied on XX/XX/XXXX and was denied again stating that I did not make enough money to cover the loan. I make very decent money. Showed proof of that. My cosigner is in and out of prison, he is not a good human, I would prefer to not have any form of contact with him but this gives him a reason to contact me. there is no reason I should have been denied to have my cosigner removed. Also, dealing with Navient has been nothing short of a nightmare. This has been an ongoing loan since XXXX. I currently owe $ XXXX more than I did when I graduated due to the ridiculous interest rates put forth by the company. That makes it nearly impossible for any person to pay these loans off. I was lied to by the school that I took this loan out for, they have since closed. My degree is utterly useless and I am stuck paying for an education that was a complete joke.
