Zions Debt Holdings is attempting to collect a debt from a company called XXXX XXXX. I called the collection agency at XXXX. All selections end in a disconnect. I have tried to contact via their online form five times and received no response. Their website is XXXX I decided to try to contact XXXX XXXX directly to see if they have history or knowledge of this debt. I found their website XXXX and called the number on their front page - XXXX. I clicked to speak to someone in billing. The individual wanted my personal information, which I provided. They said they couldnt find my account. But then said let me escalate. They later came back and asked me to email them a copy of my proof of residency and a copy of my drivers license. At this point I asked why and was told so she could escalate. I told her there was nothing to escalate if they didnt have the bill. She then stumbled, but was consistent she needed that info. I told her I believe it was fraudulent and I believed they were part of the scam. And I ended the call. She called me back and told me she wanted to transfer me to a supervisor. And theyve now called me three more times. I feel strongly XXXX XXXX is a shell company creating false accounts and fake debt. I believe they also work with their debt collection company. And I believe it is all a giant scam to steal the identity of hard working Americans. Please look into this.
