XXXX XX/XX/2024, I looked up for Coinbase contact information to report issues with my account. I found the link XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which is public and should be known to Coinbase. A XXXX XXXX, who claimed to be from Coinbase Technical support answered. He gave his name as XXXX XXXX and his direct number as XXXX. He got me to download XXXX, for him to remote into my computer. XXXX generated a login ID XXXX XXXX XXXX for me and a new password for every session for several days of contact with XXXX XXXX. I had to log in to XXXX and give him the new password for each session for him to gain remote access. XXXX XXXX moved funds from my account to a Bitcoin wallet and gave me the wallet address, which I still have and Coinbase does too. On the morning of XX/XX/2024, I called Coinbase on another number only to discover that it was all a scam as the initial number and XXXX XXXX were not affiliated with Coinbase. Coinbase promised to " escallate '' the incident. Several days later, I received email from Coinbase to the effect that they were going to close the incident because they had not heard from me. I responded that I had been waiting for the findings of Coinbase 's investigation, given that Coinbase had control over the wallet and my account as of the time I filed a report with Coinbase on XXXX XXXX I still have not received a reply from Coinbase.
