Consumer Narrative

Want to file a complaint against all the credit bureaus for their unfair consumer practices of Credit Age and Hard Inquiries. The credit bureaus fail consistently to accurately display consumers ' credit age. Many people have had credit for years but the bureaus seem to only include newer accounts or only open accounts which ultimately brings the Age of Credit down and if this is considered a Medium Impact on credit then the bureaus are unfairly and unjustly affecting every person 's credit negatively. The Age of Credit should be how long a consumer has had credit, not some arbitrary number of years that the bureaus decide on nor should it only contain open credit. Likewise, the credit bureaus have unfairly and unjustly affected every consumer 's credit for years by retaining the quote " Hard Inquiries '' for more than a year. If this is as the bureaus say a Low Impact item why does it seem that every lending organization denies credit to people because they have " too many hard inquiries ''? Credit reports should not have any hard inquiry on it that is more than 1 year old. What is the point of keeping an inquiry there for more than a year? Should an inquiry actually be a good thing for a consumer, it means that the consumer is looking to spend money or obtain a loan for a large purchase. Why should this negatively impact anything? The credit bureaus have been lying and misjudging consumers for years and this needs to STOP! One would wonder if those XXXX XXXX US citizens who are credit-invisible are not much better off than the rest of the consumers. At least those XXXX XXXX consumers are not unfairly and unjustly judged by XXXX bureaus that arbitrarily judge consumers. The credit bureaus state that Payment History, Derogatory Marks, and Credit Card Use are all High Impact items. If this is the case and a consumer has very Excellent marks for Payment History and Derogatory marks and Fair marks for Credit Card use ( using myself as an example ) then why does it seem that the Excellent marks are not taken into account but the Fair for Credit Card Use and the Needs Work for the bureaus quoted Credit Age of 4 years and 10 months seem to outweigh any other information on each report. Credit Age of 4 years and 10 months, is an insult by the bureaus! In fact I have had a mortgage for the past 10-plus years in XXXX different states in this country, I have had car loans for the better part of 20 years consistently, but the credit bureaus do not seem to want to accurately report information that would actually help consumers like myself and many other consumers. The credit bureaus need a complete overhaul and their practices on credit reporting need to be investigated! If this is not the right organization to bring this inquiry to please let me know where or whom is the best to discuss this with. If I need to speak with Congress and Senate I am willing to do that as well. I feel the Credit Bureaus need to be investigated and overhauled in order to protect US consumers and provide fair and accurate credit reports.
