I went to a bar called XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX GA on XX/XX/23. My XXXX was swapped with another XXXX without me knowing. The person that swapped my phone was able to get into my phone. I am unsure if they saw me type in my password at some point during the night or if they scanned my face without me knowing regardless they were able to get into it. Once in my phone, the thief was able to use the Discover card I had on file with XXXX XXXX to purchase {$800.00} worth of stuff at a XXXX located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. That morning, when I noticed this, I called Discover to deactivate that card and file a fraud dispute with them. Since then I sent them a police report I filed, an identity theft report I filed, a receipt showing that I purchased a phone the very next day, and articles showing that this a problem XXXX has been dealing with. Discover continues to deny my claim stating that there is no way someone could get into my phone and use my XXXX XXXX because I had face id on the phone. Below I have attached everything I sent into Discover.
