Hollis Cobb & Associates : I called the number back to inquire about a debt that was owed. I ask that I be provided a validation of debt. I was informed that they don't provide that. I explained that it is required. They stated that they didn't have it nor were they required to provide. Then they said that they did send it but can't send it again. The debt collector then stated that I " only owed {$20.00} '' I told the caller that I was just told by a previous debt collector it was {$45.00}. He then stated that he would " try and request the form '' and send it via email. I told him that I could sue him for lying and not providing me the required information. I told him that I wanted to receive it by mail so that it is official. He then said that he couldn't hear me and that we were breaking up and disconnected the call.
