I was marked 60 days late for American Honda account # XXXX for the month of XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 respectively. I believe this was done in error and I am requesting the correction of the negative reporting on my credit. The car lease was initiated on XX/XX/23 and the initial monthly payment was paid at signing. However, the billing statements for XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 were sent to an erroneous address that I am NOT affiliated with whatsoever. I didnt receive them, and was not informed that the payments were due until I reached out to XXXX and inquired as to why I am not getting statements. I am not sure where this address came from and why the statements were sent to that address. As per my conversation with XXXX reps, the statements XXXX sent to XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX an address I am not affiliated with. They said that the dealership put this address on the application, but the dealership denies putting this address, and they stated that they included the address listed on my driver license. The billing statement should have been sent to my home address, the address specified on my driver license, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. Please note the attached driver license which clearly specifies my address as being the one listed above. The aforementioned late reporting occurred due to an error, and hence I am requesting the immediate correction of the negative reporting on my credit report as it is inversely affecting my credit profile. I didn't provide the incorrect address, and if the statements were sent to the correct address, the monthly fees would be paid on time!
