I have a charged off account in XXXX student loans. I did not receive any notifications from them that my account was charged off or that I have an overdue balance. When I checked with them, they said that everything was being sent electronically when I requested to have everything sent through paper as I made sure I have documentation as Ive had previous experience with XXXX student loans, and it was a terrible experience. I have just learned to ensure that I have documentation of everything going on, but I have not received anything after I had an issue with them last year in XX/XX/2023. Thankfully that issue was resolved but I have not received any information or notification from them and now theyre saying that my account is charged off and I have an overdue balance, and it is now affected my credit score. I have called them and asked to see if they can assist me with this and they say they can not because they sent me notifications and statements to my email but once again they have sent it to the wrong email and theyre telling me that it is my fault because I did not update my email. Although I originally have asked only for paper billing and have documentation because I know who they are and how they can mess up.
