A few days ago, my wife got a XXXX dollar payment from a family friend. It was a gift and supposed to help us out. Well I had her send the money from her Venmo account to my Venmo account. I logged into my venmo to make sure the funds made it into my account safely and securely. Well, I tried to transfer the money from my Venmo account, to my main used account thru XXXX. I found I could not transfer the funds. So I call and call and get hung up on XXXX, actually XXXX times now, I have had numerous chats that have ended in nothing. First it was they needed a statement from my bank account debit card on file because another Venmo user has the same bank account debit card info on file and you are only supposed to add a card on XXXX venmo at a time, not a big deal, probably on my wife 's account. So I give them the bank statement. Well I wait patiently a couple days for them to review it, then they ask me for my Valid form of Government State Issued ID or Drivers License, again no big deal, have no problem uploading it, I then wait and wait and wait and I get an email that says it is frozen because of a XXXX XXXX debt owed to venmo from a chargeback i believe, back in XXXXXXXX of 2023, a month after I opened the account. Well ..... I check my account statements for every month from now until I first opened the account on XXXX of 2023 and find nothing remotely close to saying I owe them XXXX XXXX. My account balance was never negative and I currently have {$50.00} dollars locked away in my account and they just keep making me jump through all kids of hoops and I am getting no where. I have all chat transcripts in my email.
