I requested an extension on past due payments during the pandemic. My car was repossessed then returned to me when the error was recognized. However thousands of dollars in fees were added to my account. In addition, I paid all required payments including additional payments pushed to the end of the loan. At the end of my loan I was told I owed more than $ XXXX in fees. I was told they were for various things. The explanation varied based on who I spoke with. Each time I tried to close out the loan prior to the end of the term. I was given inflated numbers. I tried to negotiate a buyout to no avail. This company repeatedly blocked online access for payment to. Their website is not set up to allow you to pay a single monthly payment t. They will accept the payment but you must call for processing. This entire process has been outrageous. Ive paid more than double of what I borrowed and they are still telling I owe them. Sometimes the explanation is payment pushed to the end of the loan. Other times its interest. They havent released my title and Ive made all of the payments required. I have emails inquiring about not being able to make payments on the portal because of the fees related to repossession. I have emails related to attempts to resolve this issue with what they called balloon payments
