I am making a complaint for two different fees. About a week or so ago I went on the cash app app to see if I could qualify for a glitter card. Once I submitted the information to try to get it I thought they would take the {$5.00} out of my cash app account once money was deposited into my account. At that time I didnt realize I had another card linked to my cash app account. Cash app took the funds from my external card that was linked which I didnt want it taken out from that card. I immediately called them to cancel the shipment of the glitter card so I could get a refund back on my linked card. Cash app told me they canceled the shipment of the glitter card but wouldnt refund my {$5.00}. This was the main reason I canceled so I could get that money back into my account. They refused to refind the money as I mentioned but canceled the card from being shipped. So I was charged for nothing and they kept my money! The second thing is cash app has a borrow limit on my account where I am able to borrow up to {$25.00} from them and pay them back with different options. I was suppose to pay them back yesterday but paid them a day late. I was sent a notification from them saying if I didnt repay it by XX/XX/2024 I would be charged a extra {$5.00}. Today is XX/XX/2024. I was sent a deposit today and cash app immediately took that {$1.00} from my account! I contacted them by phone and the man told me he would help. He placed me in hold saying he couldnt help. The only way to speak to cash app about this was by email and they would contact me that way. I asked him why did he even place me on hold when I had already explained the issue to him and he knew they only contacted through email about my concern?! It was a waste of time placing me on hold acting as if he was going to help. Also why would they need to contact me by email if I was already on the phone with them!?! Cash app is well known for taking your money or allowing others to take your money and not helping retrieve it back especially if the merchant is a scammer! A while back I paid a merchant {$200.00} and the merchant told me they didnt receive my mo ey I sent them but it showed on cash app it was sent to them. Cash app did NOTHING about giving my money back at that time. Cash app needs to be removed and held accountable for how they are doing their customers! They false advertise and say you dont owe something until a certain date but still take your money
