On XX/XX/XXXX, I submitted an online dispute to Transunion via XXXX pertaining to an incorrect balance and payment history being reported by the creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX. Three days later, I received notice indicating that Transunion had investigated the dispute and verified it as accurate. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a written dispute and demand for verification to Transunion regarding the account in question. In addition, I included a hard-copy receipt to provide evidence of my claim. At that time, I currently owed XXXX XXXX, XXXX, a balance of {$5.00}, XXXX. This balance was paid on time. Transunion records reflect a much higher and incorrect balance of {$7400.00} that was 30 days past due! In that letter, I asked that Transunion correct my file. OnXX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Transunion indicating that they once again verified the information as accurate! No other information was provided. Transunion did not provide any details of their investigation or to whom they spoke, or how. Transunion is NOT following federal law and investigating legitimate claims against data furnishers. Every time I try to correct a matter on my report, I get a letter that essentially offers no help or provides blatant lies. I'm getting tired of trying to amicably work with Transunion and am willing to pay any number of the multitude of attorneys online to sue them.
