On XX/XX/year> I deposited my federal tax refund check into Navy Federal Credit union branch located on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I receive a receipt stating my federal refund would be available next business day. Also per XXXX standards any federal or government check is available next business day. On XX/XX/year> I received an email stating they received confidential information that the check possibly not be honored. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX and was informed this information was FALSE. I contact XXXX to inquire about their verification process, I spoke to XXXX whom stated the check had not been processed and they reserve the right to hold checks additional days. The email I received indicates something different. It gives the impression that this check is fraudulent. Unfortunately I have experienced this situation before with regards to a check from XXXX from the sell of my car. XXXX will unfairly holds behind reason until the check is issued as cash. I requested a supervisor response because I feel I am being discriminated against in regards with deposit holds. I receive emails that my checks are fraudulent but are then honored and cash. XXXX XXXX credit is mishandling my account.
