I bought furniture and financed through American first finance XX/XX/XXXX. They told me the interest would be capped to abide by military standards. The interest is over 100 % and they are denying the service member civil relief act to cap at 6 % and give us the difference back. We live in a key provision state, PA so should be eligible for this even if the dance was began while XXXX XXXX. I have been XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. Even without that, the military lending act caps at 36 %. They do not answer emails and continue to send documents to the previous address despite my efforts to have them update it. When asked my interest percentage rate they will not answer. Only say that {$11.00} of per diem is being added each day. We have to get this taken care of. I have paid THOUSANDS of dollars for this furniture and want to resolve this. Please help.
