I bought a used car from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, IL. They claimed I needed to fill out an application in order for them to get " approval '' from the finance company for the vehicle. The dealer wouldn't tell me who the finance company was nor what terms meaning interest, length etc. I figured it out by looking at the paperwork. I called Capital One Auto Finance to explain the dealer sold me a car I didn't want and that the price they quoted Capital One is not what the vehicle was valued at and that the dealer inflated the price. I tried to return the vehicle to the dealer and cancel the loan but since the dealer ensured that the finance company funded the loan I'm the one who got shafted. I now have a 6 year {$700.00} car payment for a car that at best is worth $ XXXX. This is because of course the dealer added additional fees that I didn't request like GAP insurance, extended warranty and repair, etc. The finance company helps the dealer fraudulently advertise car prices and then XXXX up the price when the finance company approves the vehicle.
