I had called as I was having a hard time using this card to pay online and I was told that XXXX does not allow the use of gift cards for payment. I received {$1200.00} in total AMEX gift cards as a gift to help me pay some bills as I was XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and had some bills that I was behind on. After calling AMEX I was told I could use the card anywhere AMEX was displayed. I tried in XXXX and it was declined. Now I has=ve XXXX worth of card that I can not use.
