On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX, I visited XXXX XXXX to learn about their medical treatments. They charged me {$25.00} for XXXX diagnosed my problem, and recommended their XXXX at $ XXXX dollars. I would later find out the person reading the XXXX was actually the sales manager, not a medical professional. I told that person, ( XXXX XXXX ) I would likely pay cash if I went forward with this. XXXX XXXX gave me misleading and coercive information about a discount I could have if I applied for a loan from an entity he would direct me to online. In his presence, he directed me on my phone, at times handling my phone to apply for this loan. During this visit he said I could cancel the treatment if I changed my mind, an provided me wtih a written refund policy. I was eventually approved. A day later I called XXXX XXXX and cancelled the service. I never was given a statement from them showing any kind of credit of {$10000.00}. Later that day I received a call from MOMNT about my " loan ''. I call back and told them I had cancelled the service, and if they had fully funded XXXX XXXX they needed to reverse the disbursal. Two days later I received a statement from MOMNT showing my " balance '' of {$10000.00}. I then contacted XXXX XXXX and requested a refund. They never acknowledged my request. A second written request was undeliverable as XXXX XXXX had closed. About two months later MOMNT contacted me about irregularities in the loan application process. I went through all this with them. On XXXX oXXXX XXXX XXXX i received an email from MOMNT saying that an investigation had shown there was no identify fraud. I reopened another investigation ( still pending ) as I had contacted all parties early on and stated that I 1. NEVER received a good nor service, 2. I had never had possession of the {$10000.00}, XXXX never was provided with a receipt of balance from XXXX XXXX At this time the principal proprietors of XXXX XXXX have filed XXXX XXXX bankruptcy. I have contacted the Trustee for these two individuals behind XXXX XXXX and asked to be considered a " debtor '' to this liquidation. What is my liability and exposure long term on this? This " loan '' from MOMNT is a two year, no interest loan. It is now on month 11, and the clock is ticking to get resolution.
