I made a purchase for XXXX using the Commerce Bank credit card. The total was {$1800.00} or so for a month of lodging in an XXXX in XXXX. The experience was just horrible. 1. Knowing the booking was for a month, the XXXX should have been stocked accordingly. It was stocked for 2 days stay - toilet paper, paper towel, towels, etc.. Not for 30 days! 2. I had my service animal with me which is by federal law allowed to bring. The host came to me and told me to pay for my service animal another {$500.00} in cash outside the XXXX or else they will make up something to get rid of me. This is extortion! 3. The host entered the apartment without my permission nor my knowlege. My girlfriends private items like underwear were out and about. Thats an invasion of privacy. 4. The host overall was extremely aggressive and rude to us. Due to these reasons, I have opened a dispute with the credit card company and then did not hear anything! There is no dispute center, there is no online portal. I called twice and both times had to wait 2 hours on the line until I got someone! The reason I called second time was because whoever opened my dispute the first time did not do anything! I had essentially to open the dispute twice. Just horrible service. Then, 3 months later, I get a notice that I am getting rebilled. Despite all the above, and without any investigation, they just rebilled me and there is no ability to appeal, no one to talk to so I decided not to pay for the bill, as I should! They placed a past due mark on my credit report and I can not do anything!! I am being screwed from all directions with this transactions!
