Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/XXXX. I received a notice via email that XXXX accounts were deleted. I spoke with a representative on XX/XX/XXXX in the fraud department where the representative helped me with the disputes. I have had a fraud alert on my Experian credit report since XX/XX/XXXX. The reason for the deletion is because I uploaded my FTC documents and Drivers License and Social security information with my correct name. My name was reporting incorrectly and there were accounts that should not be reporting. So I received an update that they were removed immediately. Today XX/XX/XXXX. I received an email of reinsertion of all the accounts that were deleted. I spoke with a representative and he stated that it was never deleted. I told him it was, I have copies and proof. Then stated he the reason it was reinserted was because they received more documentation from me. But they never did. The documentation that was received was sent in XX/XX/XXXX when I spoke with the Fraud department and he corrected my name and city of my address. I asked him to explain why it was reinserted again just to clarify, he stated it was because they received documentations from me. I asked him when, he proceeds to say he doesnt know because he is having system issues. Not acceptable, because I know when it was submitted and asked to be transferred to fraud department. Call was transferred to XXXX in Fraud Department. The same thing was explained to her and she also stated that it was pending investigation. I expressed to her AGAIN, that the accounts were deleted on XX/XX/XXXX and I have proof and they need to be removed permanently. She still stated that theres nothing she can do. This is unacceptable. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) prohibits credit reporting agencies from reinserting account information that was previously disputed and removed from a consumer 's credit report. The credit bureaus can not reinsert this information unless it receives a certification from the data furnisher ( the bank, credit card company, or debt collector ) that the information is correct and then provides notice to the consumer that the information will be reinserted. They did not receive that information in XXXX day from all the creditors. They deleted due to the circumstances of the accounts reporting.
