My bank sent a bank issued check for my XXXX mortgage payment in the amount of {$800.00}. My servicing company Shellpoint received the check on XX/XX/year> and cashed the check on XXXX XXXX. They are claiming the check was NSF and resubmitted the same check on XX/XX/XXXX and it was then marked " refer to maker '' I contacted my bank and they provided me with a copy of the front and back of the check cashed. With the " for deposit only '' stamp XXXX XXXX. Altho we have provided proof they cashed the check they still deny it. I have the trace # that I also provided to my servicing company. My bank says the check was never returned. I have spent many hours going back and forth with my bank who has been very cooperative and helpful in every way. Shellpoint has only repeated what they have claimed since XXXX. We now have late fees and is about to be a 6 month default on our credit. I have made a complaint to the XXXX back in XXXX. I have filed a complaint with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX 2023.
