We own a company with a business checking account. We noticed withdrawals from our business checking account that were not authorized. These withdrawals were from a company named AFFIRM ( apparently a buy now pay later credit company ). Apparently a customer of AFFIRM illegally linked their AFFIRM credit card to our business checking account. How this can occur without any safeguards at AFFIRM is still a mystery. These transactions occurred from late XXXX into XXXX and totaled about {$10000.00} We notified our bank of these unauthorized transactions and they reversed many of the charges. We have also been in contact with a XXXX XXXX at AFFIRM and he too has returned " MOST '' of the charges to our account. However, we are now down to 4 transactions that our bank has tried to get back and AFFIRM has attempted to return but for some strange reason both banks " allegedly '' keep rejecting the transactions. It is very difficult to talk to anyone at AFFIRM in person because they won't release their phone number, they are extremely slow to respond to emails. I have copied both their CEO and CFO and they too do not respond. A XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. Their emails are XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX We have now been dealing with this issue for 2 months and it is still not resolved. Someone needs to look into the security measures a company like AFFIRM have in place to ensure an account holder can not link their AFFIRM credit card to a completely unrelated business checking/savings account.
