I filed another complaint # XXXX XXXX earlier today. I know found out that they did have my insurance info, but for some reason did not upload it or properly acknowledge it in the system. I asked why, after spending XXXX hours on the phone with various voicemail trees, various people, on hold, and filing complaints, and they could not answer. I want this complaint to continue. The issue is not resolved. They had no explanation as to why they didn't acknowledge the insurance I provided. Also, they did not confirm they will issue a refund. The only way I was able to finally reach someone in their insurance department is to call the main UWM #, tell them I was filing a complaint with the CFPB and tell them that I'm elderly and contacting an attorney, and speaking to someone at UWM who was able to connect me with someone in the insurance dept. This is a total waste of time and a total abuse. I wonder how people who don't have the ability I do to deal with this ever get anything resolved.
