When we purchased the car, we set up payments through XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX would receive the money and then pay Ally Financial. In XXXX, we received a note from Ally that the payment was late. We checked the banking statement and XXXX had received the money to make the payment. We called XXXX XXXX and the representative informed us that they did receive the payment, but there was a system error and Ally hadn't been paid. We were then informed to make our XXXX payment directly to Ally. The representative drafted and sent us a note explaining the error and they sent the same letter to Ally. However, the late payment was still reported on my credit. I have called Ally several times explaining the situation and have faxed them the letter from XXXX explaining what happened. In addition, I have filed several disputes in which I attached the letter and explained what happened. However, each time Ally has denied to remove the error from my credit report. The account is now paid and closed as I moved the loan to another company.
