On XX/XX/year> my Capital One Savor One credit card was charged by XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX for {$1400.00}. I was dissatisfied with the XXXX product and returned it to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX via merchant provided return shipment, aligning with their 30-day free return policy. However, to this date ( XX/XX/year> ), I have been unable to get a refund from XXXX despite the completed return. On XX/XX/year>, I asked Capital One to step in to help and they sent me a form to fill with additional information. I filled the form and returned it to Capital One both via Fax and USPS ( odd that they do not offer online upload or email option, but guess for some reason it has to be done the hard way with Capital One ). On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One acknowledged that they have received the documentation but that it does not have information needed to assist with the claim, which is odd because I answered each and every question on the form presented by Capital One. As a result, I am still being charged for a product that I have returned and that should have been refunded, but Capital One is unwilling to step in and help with the transaction. Hoping that this CFPB complaint would help to reach someone that can actually take a look at this and assist. For reference, the case number at Capital One should be XXXX.
