I had a balance of approx. {$3000.00} which I have been paying off and now paid. off. My card was canceled for some unknown reason ( not myself induceded ) mid-way through. The bank was in Puerto Rico and would not let me make payments anymore online but only mail them in. I would mail in my payments two weeks early but my payment was ALWAYS one day late, even though make check would clear on the day it was due. I constantly was charged a {$29.00} late fee. When I called to dispute, the bank reps would refer me to the number XXXX XXXX which did not work. That number referred me back to the original phone number of XXXX. It was an endless merry-go-round. I have since paid off my card but would like something done with these crooks. They also upped my interest rate when the payments were never late.
