Please take notice that this complaint will constitute a Pre Arbitration / Litigation Demand Notice There is an account reporting as a collection on my credit report from the debt collector named XXXX XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$2200.00} with interest accruing every month for a Rental Lease for an apartment Unit which was not on the Lease contract that was provided when I reached out to the debt collector and asked for them to Validate the debt. I have attached the Debt Collectors Debt Validation response. If you examine the Rental Agreement, you will notice that the Unit referred to in the agreement is unit # XXXX which the lease was paid in full however XXXX XXXX XXXX is stating that I owe them for Unit # XXXX which is false and misleading because I lived in unit # XXXX before I moved to my current address. This is evidence that inaccurate information is being reported. I have sent disputes to XXXX disputing the accuracy of the account and it came back verified every time. This is evidence that XXXX is violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act I am requesting a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information, including the business name and address of any furnisher of information contracted in connection with the dispute. Furthermore, I am demanding prompt removal of this account from my credit report and compensation in the amount of {$2500.00} for damages caused by this inaccurate report being validated which caused for me to be denied for credit which harmed my livelihood. Failure to remove the derogatory account and compensate me for damages will force me to initiate arbitration.
