On XX/XX/XXXX, I went to Wells Fargo to deposit a check in my checking account for over {$240000.00}. The manager Had to make a call to verify The funds were there. They told me {$400.00} of the funds are available today and the other {$240.00}, XXXX plus dollars will be available on saturday, XX/XX/XXXX or the next day. My printed receipt from Wells Fargo States the exact same but the funds will be available the next day, XX/XX/XXXX. I noticed online that the funds are still not available and I called the customer service rep and spoke with the supervisor. The supervisor now changes the story and tells me that {$5000.00} will be available and then the remaining balance of {$240000.00} won't be available until XX/XX/XXXX. Meanwhile my printed deposit says the funds will be available saturday, XX/XX/XXXX. We needed to move the funds Else To earn interest And now Wells Fargo Is delaying this for themselves to earn the interest. Meanwhile, we have certain obligations with the funds and now we're held back because they lied to me at the branch and also the printed receipt shows when the funds would be available. I want to pursue and go after Wells Fargo for doing this to us.
