I purchased an XXXX ( XXXX ) laptop using zero interest XXXX financing. XXXX chose to sell my and many, many others ' credit lines to Comenity Bank. That transition has led me to owe over {$600.00} in interest ( which was the point of even financing with XXXX in the first ) and late fees. I never missed a payment, but when XXXX pulled the rug out from under me somehow I did. Back in XX/XX/2023 I sent a payment to Comenity through my bank 's paper check system. It was posted and sent before the deadline. Comenity never cashed it. They did, however, cash the next paper check sent to the same po box address the following month. I have been fighting with them since. For all I know they deliberately shredded it just to hold my credit rating hostage to extort late fees and interest dollars from me. I have no choice but to pay this huge some of money because they hold my credit rating hostage and I can't get anywhere with their stonewalling for hours and hours with customer service. They just bounce my from useless call center person to useless call center person holding to the argument that I can't prove that they got the check, which is impossible. I have proof is was sent on time and proof that they didn't cash it, but somehow logic doesn't work in their predatory world.
